Plan
I work out what the site needs to do — who it talks to, what it should get them to do, and which pages earn their place.
Open to freelance, part-time & full-time
Web developer who likes to create fun things. I build sites, interfaces and the code behind them — useful first, then given enough character that people remember them.

01About
I work out what the site needs to do — who it talks to, what it should get them to do, and which pages earn their place.
Clean structure, sensible components, and an editor your team can use without breaking the layout every time they add a page.
The whole punch list cleared before go-live, then a handover thorough enough that you can keep the site running without me.
I'm a web developer. Most days that means WordPress — custom themes, Elementor builds, ACF-driven layouts, and the plugin and snippet work that makes a site do what the brief actually asked for. The rest of the time it means writing it from scratch: React and Next.js front-ends, Laravel APIs, and the database and deploy work underneath them.
Right now I'm at Digital Pie Inc., a general advertising agency, where a new account means a new industry every few weeks — and I take freelance builds alongside it, for clients who come to me directly. Same approach either way: get the structure right, keep the interface honest, and sweat the details that make a page feel finished.
Before agency work I spent a year on the full-stack side — APIs, the database behind them, and the servers and deploys that kept it all up. That's still how I think about a site once it grows past a few pages, and it's why I'm not precious about the stack: I'll pick up whatever a project is best served by.

03Expertise
A web development degree and five dev roles — agency WordPress work at one end, React and Laravel builds at the other — distilled into what I reach for on a real build.
Interfaces written by hand, not assembled from a template — components, state and modern CSS layout, in React and Next.js when a project earns them. This site is one of them.
RESTful APIs and the data layer behind them, including an HR management system built end to end — schema, endpoints, auth and all.
Where most client work lands: custom themes, page-builder and block builds, plus the plugin and snippet work that gets a site past what the theme shipped with.
The on-page basics and structured data handled properly at launch, then the reporting that shows what a site does once it is out there.
Server administration and cloud hosting on whatever the project already runs on, plus the Git and staging workflow that keeps releases boring.
Visual assets for site content and branding, and the project tooling that keeps client work moving.

04Process
Two weeks, four steps, no mystery. You always know what's happening and what I need from you next.
A call, then a page-by-page plan: what each page is for, what it needs to say, and what counts as done.
Day 1–2Layout, type, and colour decided on the real content — no lorem ipsum, no surprises at handover.
Day 3–5The whole site assembled and responsive, with the editor set up so nobody has to call me to add a page.
Week 1Speed, forms, redirects and analytics checked off the punch list, then we go live.

Got a project in mind — a new site, a rebuild, or a half-finished build that needs untangling? Tell me what you're working on and I'll come back with a plan. Hiring rather than briefing? I'm open to part-time and full-time roles as well.
